Mirrors don’t lie

Have you ever looked in the mirror and not liked what you saw? Looking in that mirror everyday won’t change what you see, you must do things differently if you want to see a change in the mirror. So when you look at your bank account each month you are looking at your financial mirror. It only reports back to you what you have done with your money, looking in that mirror each month will not change what you see, you must do things differently to see a change in your bank account.

A better looking mirror with colors and charts is still just a mirror, it is simply a reflection of what you have done with the money you have. Just like looking in a mirror, if you want to see a change you must do things differently, like live on a spending plan, pay down debt, save for short and long term goals. When you do those things then the mirror will become your friend because you will see where you are making progress or where you got off plan and armed with that feedback you can improve your planning.

We all know mirrors don’t lie, if you want to change what you see you need to change what you do then you may start to like what you see in the mirror!
